Introducing the next generation of stability from Mizuno – the ST-X 220 Driver. Promoting a draw bias, due to its strategically placed heel-weighting system, the ST-X 200 is the perfect option for golfers looking to correct a hook off the tee.
The 20-gram back weight aids in creating a much deeper centre of gravity, maximising forgiveness, and producing higher, longer ball flights. The ST-X delivers optimum performance through increased stability on off-centre shots and with mid-level spin, is suited to golfers with a moderate swing speed.
As with its sister model, the ST-Z, the ST-X has benefitted from the thinning of the Titanium portion of the club’s sole, allowing for the carbon surface area to be expanded by an impressive 40%. Coupled with the back weight almost doubling from 11-gram to 20-gram, Mizuno have created a driver which promotes a more consistent ball speed as well and more consistent launch angles and spin numbers.
Expertly engineered using Mizuno’s Harmonic Impact Research, the ST-X creates an overall ‘solid’ feel which golfers have come to expect from the brand. Complete with Mizuno’s Quick Switch adjustable head, the ST-X offers up to 4 degrees of loft adjustment, allowing golfer to further tune the driver to produce their preferred launch and trajectory.
The ST-X is available as standard in a 10.5 or 12 degree head and is fitted with Ascent Ultralight 40 (Soft Regular) or Ascent Red 50 shaft (Regular or Stiff), alongside a Lamkin ST Hybrid Grip.
